The short version
We use your number only to send you fishing texts and answer you. We never sell or share it for ads. Text STOP any time to quit.
What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, email, mobile phone number, home town or ZIP, the waters and species you choose, and the fishing reports and catch logs you text us. When you opt in to texts we record the time of consent, your IP address and browser.
How we use it
Your mobile data is used only to run the ThirdCoastAngler alert and conversation service: sending condition texts for your waters and replying when you text us. Fishing reports may be used, without your name or number, to improve conditions for other members on the same water that day.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; mobile data is not shared or sold for marketing purposes. Your number, waters and reports are never shared or sold. We use service providers (for text delivery and payments) only to operate the service.
Text messaging
Message frequency varies: texts only on good fishing days for your waters, plus replies when you text us. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end at any time, HELP for help.
Retention
Consent records are retained permanently as proof of opt-in and opt-out. Message content logs are retained for 13 months.
